Robin Sagulla
I am an artist based in Chicago, IL and have been creating works of art all of my life. I think the first thing I remember was being a child and being in awe of a pen and ink drawing my father had hanging in his workshop that he had done of the wood shop in high school. That drawing was so perfect, I wanted to be able to create something like that myself...
As I grew up I was always learning about new mediums, and how I could create new pieces from whatever "supplies" we had laying around. My artistic talents are all self taught, well, that is with the exception of high school art classes and the influence that my father has had.
I have had a long career in the Corporate world and recently have decided to pursue my art for a living. What better way of doing so than by doing what I am truly passionate about?!
I currently focus on painting and drawing, but also work in mosaics, tile work, sculpture, Room Designs....well... just about anything that is creative. I get such fulfillment out of seeing the joy my work brings to those around me.
