I just finished this Pet Portrait of a beautiful Siberian Husky named Casey. She is the amazing baby of Mike and Anne and currently on her way (via UPS) into their welcoming hands.
Isn't she so very regal!?! :)

Original Photo of Casey
Scotch was my dog... we put him down in January. Since I posted this picture on my sites, its amazing the feedback that I have received. Mostly speaking of the feeling he has invoked in the viewers. My friends and family (obviously) know about him and how much a part of my life he was, but the strangers who have no idea...their statements are the ones that really shocked me.
I recently had a girl from worlds away come to stay with me for awhile, she told me that when she saw this picture... she absolutely knew he was my dog and he was gone.
I find it amazing that art can actually convey such emotion to complete strangers.... and I am glad that it does...

REGGIE AND OLIVE
This painting was the beginning of Nests...by Robin. Reggie and Olive are two dogs that were my neighbors at one time. I painted this as a gift for their owner. It took me 2 months to complete, and the joy it brought her inspired me to start painting again...

The Finished Piece...
GOMEZ
Gomez is a little spitfire of a dog. His owner loved the painting of Olive and Reggie and requested a painting that captured Gomez's true personality. We hung the painting in a Gallery in Andersonville, where she saw it for the first time. She actually got into an argument with a stranger who fell in love with the painting and wanted it for himself :)
